We’re better together.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another. Hebrews 10:24-25

Each week, we meet together, hang out together, pray together, study the Bible together, and work toward connecting our understanding of God’s Word to our lives together. That’s precisely what Community Groups are all about at Mosaic: learning about and applying God’s Word in community.

Whether you’re a new Christian, a lifelong believer, or even if you’re not a Christian at all, joining a Mosaic CG is a great way to deepen your relationship with God (first and foremost) and others. And don’t discount what you bring to the CG. When you ask a question or participate in a discussion, you are helping everyone around you to engage with God’s Word, which is what CGs are all about.

If you’re unable to attend a Community Group, we also encourage people to participate in Discipleship Groups. These smaller, more flexible and focused groups are a great way to work spiritual growth throughout your hectic week.

THURSDAYS

Community Group Q&A

  • Sunday mornings are very special to us, but our mid-week Community Groups are where faith meets practice in a more personal way. CGs are places to form real relationships, ask deep questions, and generally do the “one anothers” of Scripture.

  • The first 30-40 minutes is spent hanging out, eating dinner and/or snacks, and catching up on everyone’s week. This is followed by a time of discussion and study, then we close out the night with prayer.

  • Dinner is not generally provided, but individual groups sometimes arrange potlucks or make other plans. Reach out to the group leader if you’re curious about what’s happening on a given week. Definitely feel free to bring dinner with you or have food delivered to the address of your Community Group any week.

  • Official childcare is not provided, but kids are totally welcome! It’s not always easy to have kids running around, but it’s a blessing for everyone to be able to pitch in, watch each child grow, and help them to grow into mature adults.
