God has gifted the local church with leaders who are called to equip the saints for the work of ministry and direct them in faith and godliness.

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace. I Peter 4:10

At Mosaic, leadership is a shared calling. Our pastors and leadership team work together to create a culture of care, clarity, and Christ-centered direction. Whether teaching on Sundays, leading teams, or serving behind the scenes, each leader plays a vital role in helping people find their place in God’s story. We’re honored to serve this church and excited for all God is doing in and through Mosaic.

PASTORS

GREG BROWN

lead pastor

Greg was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Richmond when he was eight years old. After earning a Bachelor’s degree with a double-major in computer information systems and business administration and a minor in theology, he moved back to Richmond, married his best friend, and took a job as a web engineer. He was always interested in theology, but pastoral ministry wasn’t Greg’s plan. God’s plans were different.

After being called and appointed as a worship and executive pastor in 2014, Greg has spent several years developing as a pastor, elder, and teacher. His greatest passions are teaching, developing leaders, and preaching the Bible in a way that is intellectually consistent, engaging, and applicable. His greatest desire is to see Christians equipped with rock-solid theology and gospel-centered practice.

Greg enjoys reading, good coffee, traveling, playing guitar, and collects fountain pens, and spending time with his best friend and wife, Ashley, and their dog, August.

His greatest passions in ministry are preaching, marriage counseling, and seeing every church member using their gifts for the good of the church and the spread of the gospel.

Brandon loves reading, traveling, creative writing, and most of all, baseball. He is currently finishing a degree at Regent University. He and his wife, Kelsey, call Mechanicsville “home” with their four children, Ezekiel, Sparrow, Phoebe, and Olive.
